Hamilton man, 22, charged in stabbing of two people

A 22-year-old Hamilton man has been charged in relation to an incident Monday (May 24) in which two people were stabbed in the area of Main and Wentworth St.
Austin Golightly is accused of two counts of assault (with a weapon and with bodily harm) and two counts of failing to comply with his probation.
His bail has been opposed.
The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene and found two people suffering from injuries sustained from a sharp object.
Officials say the suspect fled on foot.

The victims are expected to recover from their injuries and police say they are known to the suspect.
