Halton Regional Police Services in Burlington said they have arrested a man known as the Under-Armour Bandit and his alleged accomplice, his mother, over the weekend.

The mother-son suspects, who are from Hamilton, were nabbed Saturday (Nov. 23) after a lengthy investigation into a series of residential break and enters dating back to January 2019.

Police and investigators from the Criminal Investigations Bureau dubbed the suspect the Under-Armour Bandit because of “a unique footprint/shoe impression that was identified at scene of the entries,” police said.

Police say both are charged with 15 counts of break and enter.
