The Halton Police had to be brought in to investigate when a Niagara Police off-duty officer was involved in a road rage incident in St. Catharines on July 21.

When Niagara Police responded to the incident, they learned that a male suspect has gotten out of his car and smashed the windshield of another, prompting that driver to call 9-1-1.

There were no injuries reported from the incident.

When the Niagara Police realized the suspect was an off-duty officer with their force, they called in the Halton Police to investigate the incident.

On August 17, the Halton Police charged Nathan Parker, 56, of St. Catharines with mischief under $5,000 and assault.

Parker is scheduled to appear in the St. Catharines Courthouse on October 25, 2022.
