Halton Hills library program uses Lego to teach basics of coding to kids

A program designed to teach coding skills to kids in Grades 4 to 6 is being held by the Halton Hills Public Library.

The eight-week Lego Robotics program uses the kids building blocks to help make complex ideas more accessible.

Each week will be an exploration of a different aspect of Lego Mindstorms, learning to create and code Lego Robots.

Registration is required with a $40 registration fee.

The program, which costs $40, is held Mondays from 4 to 5 p.m. beginning April 17 at the Georgetown branch, 9 Church St.
