Halton Hills implements winter parking restrictions

New winter parking rules are now in effect throughout Halton Hills.
Starting immediately, overnight on-street parking is not permitted between 2 and 6 a.m.
Boulevard parking is permitted but sidewalks must not be blocked and kept safe and accessible to pedestrians.
These rules will be in place until April 15 of 2023.
As well, the Town asks all residents to avoid parking on the street when it snows. Parked vehicles interfere with the clearing and salting of roads for emergency vehicles and regular traffic.
Further, parking exemptions will not prevent you from getting a ticket for obstructing snow clearing or road maintenance operations.
