The Halton District School Board (HDSB) is hosting a virtual open house for families to learn more about the I-STEM program for secondary students.

The I-STEM program, which stands for Innovation – Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, is available to secondary students in Halton Region and beyond. The program enables students to develop skills related to entrepreneurial thinking, engineering design and global competencies and will allow them to have enhanced learning opportunities through community and post-secondary partnerships.

It will be offered at Aldershot School in Burlington and Elsie MacGill Secondary School in Milton for the 2022-2023 school year.

The open house will be live-streamed on Oct. 28 at 7:00 p.m. with a presentation hosted by I-STEM faculty. A live question and answer session will follow.

Those who are interested may submit questions before and during the presentation here.

The open house will also be recorded and posted on the HDSB I-STEM webpage.
