The grand opening of a Toronto-based gourmet cookie company’s first Brampton location has been delayed.
Earlier this week, much-loved boutique cookie maker Craig’s Cookies announced it would hold the official grand opening its new location in the Bramalea City Centre food court on Saturday.
The event would ahve seen the first 100 customers through the doors receive free classic cookies with any purchase.
But a publicist for the company tells INsauga.com that the event planned for Saturday won’t go ahead as there’s been a “delay in opening Craig’s Cookies Brampton.”
The opening is postponed due to construction delays, but no date for the rescheduled opening has been shared.
An update is expected on Craig’s Cookies’ social media accounts on Thursday, and again next week.
The thick, chewy cookies have become a popular treat across southern Ontario including in Mississauga, Burlington, Hamilton and Niagara Falls, and also in Newfoundland – where founder Craig Pike is originally from.
