The grand opening of a gourmet cookie company’s first Brampton location is almost here after months of waiting.
Back in March, Your City Within and INsauga.com first reported on the upcoming opening of Craig’s Cookies at a Brampton mall food court.
The much-loved boutique Toronto-based cookie maker now says it will be open for business in Brampton on Saturday with the grand opening of its Bramalea City Centre location.
To celebrate the launch of the new BCC store, the first 100 customers through the doors on Saturday will receive free classic cookies with purchase.
The thick, chewy cookies have become a popular treat across southern Ontario including in Mississauga, Burlington, Hamilton and Niagara Falls, and also in Newfoundland – where founder Craig Pike is originally from.
“From the first batch I made in 2013 to the mouthwatering smell of the classic chocolate chip cookies in the oven as I type this message, we pack each cookie with not only tantalizing taste, but with the nostalgia you’ll feel when you take your first bite,” Pike says of his cookies on the company’s website.
Cookie creations include classics like chocolate chip, but also gourmet offerings like apple pie, butterscotch pecan, chili chocolate, maple bacon, Mars Bar, Oreo, Reese’s Pieces, shortbread, toffee and more.
The new Craig’s Cookies opens at the BCC food court on Saturday. The store will be open on Monday to Friday for 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
