Fruitilicious Cakes in Mississauga offers one-of-a-kind wedding cakes and other creations

One-of-a-kind wedding cakes and dessert tables are the specialty of a shop that just celebrated its grand opening in east Mississauga.
Fruitilicious Cakes welcomed customers to the opening of its newest location the weekend of Nov. 27-28. It’s located at 1365 Mid-Way Blvd., Unit 13, near Tomken Rd. and Courtneypark Dr. E.
“What a great experience we had this past weekend! We appreciate every single person who made our Grand Opening such a wonderful success,” the shop posted on its Facebook page.
Fruitilicious Cakes, which also has a location in Toronto, was established in 2015 by self-taught cake artist Sandra Danso-Boadi, who appeared as a competitor on season six of Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship.

Danso-Boadi has more than 20 years of baking experience and as principal designer and creative director she’s behind every wedding cake and dessert table styling.

But she certainly doesn’t do it alone. She has a “passionate team of professionals” at her side in making a wide variety of cakes and desserts.
“Our philosophy is deeply focused on exceptional client service. We pride ourselves on working with approximately over 60 couples and over 15 corporate clients annually,” says Danso-Boadi. “We are dedicated to bringing our clients the best creativity in meeting the challenge of making exquisite desserts that reflect who they are.”
