The city is bringing the big screens back to Brampton with free weekly Movies Under the Stars events this summer.

Starting next week and running until September, Brampton will host family-friendly outdoor movie night screenings three days a week.

From action-packed blockbusters like Spider Man: No Way Home and No Time to Die, to Disney favourites like The Lion King and Encanto, there will be nearly 30 weather-permitting movie nights in the city this season.

The movies will run on Thursdays in Garden Square starting on June 16, Fridays in Chinguacousy Park starting on July 8, and Saturdays in Mount Pleasant Square starting on July 9.

Show times will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Garden Square, and at dusk in Chinguacousy Park and Mount Pleasant Square.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and of course snacks to complete the theatrical experience.
