Four Injured in Weapons Incident in Mississauga

Tactical and K9 units are on scene for an investigation this afternoon.
Police got a call at 2:23 p.m. for a report of weapons seen in the area of Hurontario Street and Highway 403.
Two males were taken into custody and have been transported to a local hospital with injuries.
In addition, police say two officers have also been taken to hospital.
Injuries are unknown at this time.
Elia Avenue has been closed at Acorn Place, police report.
Residents are asked to avoid the area.
UPDATE: Police confirmed that one male was armed with a baseball bat, which was used to strike an officer in the head. The investigation is ongoing.
