Fort Erie couple wins $50,000 with Instant Crossword

A couple from Fort Erie are celebrating a $50,000 top prize win through Instant Crossword.
Karen and Timothy Marazzo bought their winning ticket from the Garrison Mart on Garrison Rd in Fort Erie. The $3 ticket resulted in a huge return on investment when the couple was able to find all 11 words.
A Crossword player can also win $3 for two words, $7 for three, $15 for four, $25 for five, $50 for six, $100 for seven, $5,000 for eight, $10,000 for nine and $25,000 for ten words.
Players have a 1 in 3.91 chance of winning something every time they play. Winners of $1,000 to $49,999 are “strongly encouraged” to claim their winnings online or via the mail as appointments at the Toronto headquarters are limited.
Anyone winning $50,000 or more are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to set their appointment.
