Food truck crash in Brampton sends three people to hospital

Three people are in hospital after a multi-car crash in Brampton involving a food truck.
Peel Regional Police say they were called to the area of Highway 50 and Countryside Drive around 2:18 p.m. on Friday for reports of a multi-car collision.
Peel Paramedics say three people were transported to local hospital, and a spokesperson confirmed one of the patients suffered serious injuries and the other two patients were transported in stable condition.
Police said one of the victims had to be extricated from a vehicle by emergency crews, and paramedics were unable to confirm the ages or gender of the crash victims.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash was a food truck according to police.
Police said to expect traffic delays and are asking drivers to avoid the intersection Highway 50 and Countryside Drive if possible.
