Travellers can access more flights to western Canada, western Europe and Scandinavia via Pearson Airport in Mississauga now that several carriers have expanded their service.
Air Canada has resumed six weekly flights between Pearson and Madrid, Spain as of this week as the spring travel schedule ramps up.
Closer to home, Canada’s flagship carrier is also resuming its four-flights-per-week service between Pearson and Fort McMurray in Alberta.
Meanwhile, Scandinavian Airlines has reintroduced its four weekly flights between Pearson Airport and Stockholm, Sweden and is also offering three weekly flights to Copenhagen, capital of Denmark.
In early April, Air Canada resumed its schedule of five weekly flights to Copenhagen, which with a population of about two million is also the northern European nation’s most populous city.
In March, as the spring travel season began to take hold, Air Canada also announced it was increasing the number of flights to Portugal, Spain and Greece from Pearson.
