Festival of Friends among mobile COVID-19 vaccination stops as Hamilton nears 75% fully vaxxed

The Hamilton health care partners will continue to blitz areas of the city with the lowest COVID-19 vaccination rates this week.

Health officials have administered 804,981 doses to date, with 81.7 per cent of eligible Hamiltonians receiving a vaccine and 74.8 per cent receiving two.

Mobile clinics are set up for individuals who were born in 2009 or earlier. No appointments are necessary.

“With a return to more indoor settings in the Fall, it’s vital that Hamilton’s vaccination coverage continues to increase and that all Hamiltonians follow public health measures to reduce the spread of the virus,” says Public Health.
