While the entertainment button is still on pause for Casino Niagara, the same can’t be said for cross-town rival, Fallsview Casino, where it’s turning into a full-on Christmas festival during the last month of 2021.

First up is their long-standing festive favourite “Christmas Wonderland”, which the casino bills as “one of the most delightful and enchanting Christmas shows ever.”

The New York style Christmas spectacular come complete with glittering costumes, a dazzling cast, everyone’s favourite Christmas songs and “the highest-kicking Chorus Girls this side of the North Pole!”

Singing it all Broadway-style, folks will hear all the seasonal biggies, such as White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Jingle Bells, Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, Santa Claus is coming to town, All I Want for Christmas is You and many more.

The show opens today and runs until December 18, a week before the big day. (Ticket info link at the bottom.)

The new year will start at in 1950s musical style as long-time as Forever Plaid returns to The Avalon Theatre for a 12-show run between January 6 and 13.

The show is described as a “quartet of fantastically funny and timelessly tuneful male singers bring their close harmonies and charming choreography to take you on a journey through favourite pop hits of the 1950s, such as “Moments To Remember,” “Heart and Soul,” “Love is a Many Splendored Thing” and more.”

Then hang on because January will be finishing off with the legendary 1970s sensation Tony Orlando, who will bring his classic “Tie a Yellow Ribbon”, “Knock Three Times” and lots more to the stage for three shows January 17 and 18.
