The express train to and from Pearson Airport in Mississauga is back in full service after nearly two weeks of modified service due to ongoing repairs.

Officials with Union Pearson Express, the rail link that connects the airport to Union Station in the heart of downtown Toronto, said this morning that starting today (Feb. 21), “we’re reintroducing 15-minute service on UP Express, seven days a week.”

The UP Express had been providing 30-minute service for nearly two weeks after being suspended due to unspecified “service issues.”

The rail line was on “modified” service due to “unexpected maintenance” and offering passengers trains every 30 minutes.

The train is back to making all stops between Union and Pearson, officials say.

The UP Express saw an increase in service as of April 2022 when two late-evening daily trips in each direction were added to the line.

The last eastbound trip each day departs Pearson at 11:27 p.m. while the final westbound trip will leave Union Station at 11 p.m.
