Drug bust sees six people from Ajax, Oshawa, Toronto and Whitby charged

Six people have been charged following a months-long investigation into drug-related activity in a major Ajax plaza.
Durham Regional Police had been getting numerous complaints from the public about suspected drug activity in Ajax’s Harwood Plaza, nestled between Ajax-Pickering Hospital and Hwy. 401.
The complaints began in October 2022, sparking a lengthy investigation. Police wrapped the investigation in December, charging six people with various charges.
Matthew Bigelow, 26 and Chris Bigelow, 45, and Kevin Webber, 42 all of Ajax, along with Omar Jarret, 36 of Whitby, have all been charged with numerous drug-related offences though police did not specify the charges.
Two others, Samara Moschella, 26 of Oshawa and Kevin Lu, 52 of Toronto, were also charged with several non-drug-related offences.
