Driver Flees After Striking Pedestrian in Mississauga

A driver failed to remain on scene after striking a pedestrian in Mississauga.

Peel police report that the victim was struck by a vehicle in the Dixie Rd. and Rathburn Rd. area. 

The driver did not remain on scene.

There are no reports on injuries at this time. 

Police say Dixie Rd. is closed between Burnhamthorpe Rd. E. and Rathburn Rd. E. in both directions.

Please avoid the area if possible.
