Double shooting in west Mississauga prompts police plea for public’s help

A double shooting in Mississauga’s west end on Saturday night (Dec. 3) has prompted a plea from police to the public for help in tracking down multiple culprits.
Peel Regional Police say one man remains in hospital in critical condition while the other victim received minor injuries in the violent attack that took place at about 6:30 p.m. outside a high-rise apartment building at The Collegeway and Ridgeway Dr.
Detectives with Peel police 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are appealing to the public for information leading to the capture of those responsible for the shootings.

Police officers who were first on the scene of the violence found evidence of the shooting and learned that two men had been shot.
There were initial reports that a third person had been shot, but police have since confirmed there were two victims.
Police believe there are multiple culprits on the run and that they fled the scene in a grey 2016-2022 fifth-generation Honda CRV SUV.
