Rock ‘n Roll icons The Doobie Brothers will be in Oshawa this fall as part of the legendary band’s 50th anniversary tour.

The band, which formed in San Jose, California in 1970, achieved most of its success in the 70s and have amasses 16 top-40 songs along the way, including China Grove, Listen to the Music, Taking it to the Streets and Black Water, which was #1 on this day in 1974.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020 and four-time Grammy winners, The Doobie Brothers have taken a few breaks over the years but re-assembled recently (with much of the core lineup intact) and took the pandemic to write and produce their 15th studio album, Liberte, their first record of original material in eleven years.

The Doobie Brothers, with songs still enjoying heavy rotation on classic radio stations, will be at Oshawa’s Tribute Communities Centre October 17. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. but you can purchases tickets today (Thursday) during the Backstage Pass Cyber Club Presale with the code STREETS. ONLINE ONLY.
