Oakville beer lovers enjoying a couple of cold ones this month can also help out the Oakville Hospital Foundation at the same time, but time is running out.

Throughout the month of July, customers of The Beer Store in Oakville can donate their empty can deposits in support of the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Part of a province-wide campaign, money raised from the bottle drive donations will help fund clinical and non-clinical equipment and technology that directly enhances the patient experience.

This includes replacement equipment and new state-of-the-art technology that enables healthcare providers to better care for patients.

“I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Beer Store and our community at large for their support,” says Mary McPherson, CEO of the Oakville Hospital Foundation. “This bottle drive provides a simple and convenient way for individuals to donate to OTMH and thank our staff and physicians for everything they do.”

The Beer Store locations taking part in this initiative include 1431 Rebecca Street, 1011 Upper Middle Road, 2425 Truscott Drive, 2458 Dundas Street West, 1500 Upper Middle Road West, 290 Hays Boulevard as well as 104 Lakeshore Road West.

Those customers interested in helping out just need to follow the on-site instructions provided by staff when returning empties.
