Digital Transformation Grants available to businesses in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon

Brick-and-mortar businesses in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon could be eligible for $2,500 in grants to help move into the digital sphere.

Digital Main Street (DMS) is a program focused on assisting small businesses adopt new technologies.

Through it’s Digital Transformation Grant, DMS is taking applications for one-time grants of $2,500 to assist businesses with their digital transformation plans.

The grant is paid through the Ontario BIA Association (OBIAA) and available to qualifying businesses in Ontario. Along with funding, the Digital Transformation Grant program provides a digital assessment, online training, and advisory support.

Applications are open until Nov. 30 and can be made by visiting digitalmainstreet.ca.

A business may be eligible for funding if the business:

  • Has a permanent ‘brick-and-mortar’ establishment in Ontario.
  • Has not previously received a Digital Transformation Grant previously.
  • Employs 1-50 employees.
  • Is not a purely online business.
  • Is a registered business in Ontario and/or is incorporated.
