Thursday’s forecast calls for flurries in the Greater Toronto Area and up to 10 cm of snowfall in parts of southern Ontario.
Environment Canada says the morning will bring a mix of sun and clouds with a 40 per cent chance of flurries in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.
Flurries are expected to continue into the afternoon with between 2 cm to 4 cm of snowfall in the GTA.
Up to 10 cm of snow could fall in areas like Wellington and Huron Counties, Listowel and Perth County.
Winds will be gusting up to 60 km/h in the morning and 40 km/h in the afternoon in Mississauga.
The daytime high will be around -4 C, but could feel more like -14 C with the wind chill.
Into the evening, conditions are expected to be cloudy in the GTA with winds gusting up to around 40 km/h. The overnight low will be around -10 C, but could feel more like -18 C with the wind chill.
Friday is expected to bring cloudy skies, a high of around 1 C and a low of around -6 C.
