Daycares in Hold and Secure After Shooting in Mississauga

Two daycares are under hold and secure following a shooting incident in Mississauga, police say.

Peel police say a shooting recently occurred in the White Clover Way and Mavis area.

There are no reports on injuries at this time.

Police say the suspect is outstanding.

Police say YMCA Credit Valley Junior and Happy Hands and Minds Daycare have been placed under hold and secure for now.

A call regarding the incident came in shortly after 2:30 p.m.
