Cyclist from Brampton dies in a crash on a major road in Caledon

A cyclist has died following a crash in Caledon.
Emergency crews responded to the collision involving a cyclist and a passenger vehicle on Winston Churchill Boulevard in Caledon just after 7:30 p.m. last night (April 30), OPP said in a post on X.
The 60-year-old male cyclist from Brampton was pronounced dead in hospital, police said.
Winston Churchill Boulevard was closed from Isabella Street to Ballinafad Road in Terra Cotta for several hours for the investigation.
The road reopened around 5 a.m. this morning.
The investigation is ongoing. Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision or any drivers who have dashcam footage to contact Caledon OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
