Crown argues man killed Ajax family of three in a “rage” after break up

Crown prosecutors used their closing arguments to assert Cory Fenn killed a family of three after breaking up with the mother, Krassimira Pejcinovski.
Prosecutors said Court Fenn knew exactly what he was doing, despite his claim of suffering a “cocaine psychosis” at the time of the killings.
Fenn has pleaded not-guilty in the deaths of Pejcinovski and her two children, Roy, 15 and Venellia, 13 in 2018. The three were found in their Hilling Drive, Ajax home on March 14. Krassimira and Roy were pronounced dead at the scene. Venellia died in hospital that night.
A third child, Victoria was not home at the time of the murders, and testified to a difficult relationship between Fenn and Pejcinovski.
Police arrested Fenn after an hours-long search found him hiding in an Oshawa shed. Fenn did not go peacefully during the arrest and received wounds to his face.
When asked the day after his arrest about a bloody knife found at the scene, Fenn told investigators the knife was for “after.”

These comments were a source of debate in the trial, until the judge ruled they were given voluntarily and not a result of the difficult arrest.
Fenn has defended himself throughout the trial after firing his attorney prior to jury selection. He has not offered a defence, but has repeatedly told the court he was a “sovereign king.”
