Crews Dispatched for Power Outage in Burlington

Burlington Hydro has reported an outage this evening, suspectedly due to a cable issue.

There is currently a power outage in the Cavendish Drive area. Hydro suspects it’s an underground cable issue.

Crews have been dispatched, Hydro reported around 4:42 p.m.

The ETR is 7 p.m.

UPDATED: As of 9:15 p.m., crews are still working to restore power. As it turns out, two transformers and cables need to be replaced – more damage was found than expected.
