COVID-safe Christmas escape game coming to Square One in Mississauga

If you love Christmas, escape rooms and games, you might be happy to hear that you can enjoy a holiday-themed escape game from the comfort of your vehicle at Square One in Mississauga.
Jestr Events, which recently hosted a Halloween event at Square One, just announced plans to bring the Journey to Save Christmas: Canada’s First Drive-Thru Escape Game to the shopping centre.
As for what guests can expect during the COVID-safe event, attendees will pull up to the display in their vehicles and drive through 13 Christmas rooms, all while enjoying a game.
“Someone’s been stealing Santa’s things and throwing them all over the North Pole. Your job is to find the items and figure out who the thief is,” organizers said in an email.
“From Santa’s Cabin to his Workshop, each room has a different game or riddle to solve by answering questions on your phone. The more questions you get right the better your chances are of saving Christmas!”
The drive-thru, which is taking shape in Square One’s P5 Parking Lot on Level C, will officially open on Dec. 4 and run until Dec. 27.
