Courtice bartender is $50,000 richer with Instant Cafe Crossword

Richelle Borg of Courtice is celebrating after winning a $50,000 top prize with INSTANT CAFÉ CROSSWORD.

Borg says she checked her ticket using the OLG App and went right back to the store to validate her winning ticket. “I am so happy,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

The 41-year-old bartender told her parents and close friends about her win. “Considering everything we have been through in the last two years, it’s surreal and amazing. I feel lighter.”

She plans to purchase a new fridge, build a deck and go on a vacation. “I’ll save the rest of my win for a rainy day.”
