Cosplay, live wrestling at huge comic store bash in Mississauga

A huge summer bash returns to a Mississauga comic store this month.

Gotham Central Comics hosts it bash on June 28 and 29 at the store, 400 Aimco Blvd., Unit 1.

Both days will feature cosplay, a raffle, prizes, an artist alley with over 40 comic and art creators, a live DJ, Ontario Ghostbusters, a store barbecue fundraiser, and a Star Wars Light Sabers Extravaganza.

Saturday’s main event is live wrestling with Toronto’s Pro Wrestling Rock Show, Superkick’d.

On Sunday, catch the Gotham Garage Car Show with Brampton Batman with the 1989 Batmobile, Knightrider Kitt, Mad Maxx, the Blues Brothers’ Blues Mobile, Barbie Jaguar, and Punisher Motorcycle.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, and from 11 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 29. The summer bash is family friendly and entrance is free.

Gotham Central is a comics and collectibles shop. The shop doors opened in January 2012 and expanded to 7,000 square feet in 2016.
