Hamilton Police say they’ve had to close Corktown Park in the city’s downtown following an early morning assault at the park Friday (July 3).
Hamilton Police say they’ve had to close Corktown Park in the city’s downtown following an early morning assault at the park Friday (July 3).
Police tweeted late Friday morning that they would be conducting an investigation at the park following the incident that sent a person to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The park is expected to be closed for a number of hours.
One person has been taken into police custody and police say that there is no threat to public safety.
