Missing Mississauga person found.

UPDATE: A Mississauga man missing since Sunday morning has been found Tuesday evening (May 7), say Peel police. Emrah has been located in good health.

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man who went missing early Sunday morning in Mississauga’s east end.

According to Peel Regional Police, Emrah, 23, was last seen in the area of Tyneburn Crescent, southeast of the Dixie Road/Bloor Street intersection, at about 7 a.m. on May 5.

The man’s family and police are concerned for his well-being.

Emrah is described as Middle Eastern (with a Turkish background) and standing 5-foot-6, with a thin build, short black hair, and a black beard and mustache.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-453-2121, ext. 1233, or Peel Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.

Peel police and several other GTA police forces, including in Toronto, adopted a policy last year in which they make public only the given names of people who’ve gone missing.

When deemed necessary by investigators, they will release surnames of missing persons as well.
