Community pool shuts down for a week in Burlington

A maintenance issue has forced the closure of a Burlington swimming pool for about a week.
The closure will take place at the Angela Coughlan leisure pool located at 2425 Upper Middle Road.
Burlington city staff say repairs need to be made because of an unexpected mechanical issue.
It is expected to reopen by May 10.
Although the leisure pool will be closed, the warming pool and the lap pool will remain open at the facility.
Other indoor pools remain open in Burlington for those looking for water activities.
