CLOSURE: Big retailer closes location in Oakville

A well-known shoe store is closing in Oakville next month.
The Shoe Company, located at 200 North Service Rd W on the east side of the Droval Crossing plaza (next to an upcoming Homesene Store), is preparing to close.
The store sells various athletic shoe brands including Nike, Reebok, and Converse and carries a wide range of footwear styles, including Crocs, sandals, and heels.
A message was recently posted on the store door notifying customers of the upcoming closure.
“Thank you and we will miss you,” the message began. “This location is closing on April 21, 2024.”
The message also listed two nearby stores, should customers wish to shop after that date. Those locations are:

The shoe store did not provide any details regarding the reason for the closure or any plans for potential relocation.
