A major electronics retailer has closed in an Ontario town.
As shown by its status on Google, the 1195 Maple Ave Best Buy location in the Town of Milton has been registered as ‘permanently closed.’
According to a recent Reddit post, the retail giant announced that April 19 was the storefront’s last day in operation.
“Wow, I’m surprised, then again I’m not. The couple of times I went, there were only a few cars in the parking lot. The store was well stocked,” read one comment on the post.
Those who call Milton home — and are looking for a brick-and-mortar Best Buy storefront — will likely have to head out of town, with the comment continuing, “It’s too bad for Milton, now we’re forced to go to Mississauga or Burlington.”
No word has yet been revealed as to what will be taking over the space.
