Easter weekend Oshawa, Whitby, Pickering, Ajax, Clarington: What's Open and Closed

Another Mississauga location of a once-popular dessert and sweets shop has closed for good.

The Laura Secord/Hallmark store at the Clarkson Crossing plaza, at Southdown Rd. and Royal Windsor Dr. in the city’s southwest corner, closed its doors permanently after serving customers for a final time this past Sunday (April 23).

The shop had been there for more than 20 years.

Meanwhile, the Laura Secord shop at Square One Shopping Centre also closed for good this past weekend after 50 years at that location. It was one of the large shopping centre’s first tenants back in 1973.

The two remaining Laura Secord shops in the area are located at Erin Mills Town Centre and Bramalea City Centre.

The Clarkson Crossing Laura Secord store closed on April 23 after serving customers for more than two decades.
