City of Hamilton receives $1 million payment for hosting Flamboro casino

The City of Hamilton has received $4,430,256 in payments this fiscal year from the province for hosting Elements Casino Flamboro.
Add another $1,020,624 to the City of Hamilton’s fiscal payments from the province for hosting Elements Casino Flamboro.
The third quarter payment brings Hamilton’s total to $4,430,256 since April 1, 2022.
Since the gaming site opened in Oct. 2000, Hamilton has received $99,561,427 from Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG).
The formula used to determine community payments is based on revenue at the hosted site.
Located on Hwy 5 across from Christie Lake Conversation Area, Elements Casino Flamboro offers slot machines, table games, and indoor dining.
