After a year’s absence, Christmas in Pelham returns this year with a host of activities including the in-person Outdoor Market.

The Outdoor Market, long considered one of the key elements of the annual Christmas In Pelham, will be held at Town Square Friday on December 3 from 4 to 9:30 pm.

Sounds like it’s coming back in a big way, too. The licensed evening event showcases local entertainment, local artisans, festive food, carriage rides, and visits with Santa.

In addition to the in-person Market, the Fabulous Fenwick Lions will host the 24th annual Santa Claus parade beginning at 1 pm on December 11.

“It is exciting to be able to see the return of Pelham’s annual holiday festivities.” said Pelham Mayor Marvin Junkin. “After so long of being apart, it is encouraging to have something to look forward to this season.”

Other events during Christmas in Pelham includes the annual house decorating contest and self-guided light tour. This year, letters to Santa will continue, with the official Santa mailbox available for drop-offs at the Meridian Community Centre. The event lineup also features winter workshops, free public skates, and the popular Santa’s Workshop.

The Christmas in Pelham event series received $15,500 in funding support from the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries; 2021 Reconnect Festival and Event Program.
