The Halton Regional Police Service has been using its Twitter account to make examples out of people breaking traffic laws; from not wearing a seatbelt to passing a stopped school bus.

Just after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, Halton Police were at it again. This time, sharing a video of what appears to be a male driver looking down and typing on his phone while stopped at a red light.

“It’s okay to text when you’re at a red light, right?” asked Halton Police. “WRONG.”

They added, “This driver never even glances up to notice they are adjacent to our truck. Concentrate on the road. #ItCanWaitHalton.”
