Registration for Kindergarten is now open for students who will be heading to the Halton Catholic District School Board for the 2023-24 school year in Halton Hills, Oakville, Milton and Burlington.

HCDSB offers a full-day, two-year Kindergarten program, designed to engage curious early learners through various types of play that help children learn how to reason and problem-solve as they interact with one another.

Parents can upload the required documents directly through the online registration portal.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Birth Certificate (required for Year 1 and Year 2)
  • Year 1 children are required to be 4 years of age on or before Dec. 31, 2023
  • Year 2 children (new to the school) are required to be 5 years of age on or before Dec. 31, 2023
  • Proof of address
  • Student or parent Roman or Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal certificate

If your child has no Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal certificate, your child may be admitted if one parent can provide a Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal certificate.

Registrations are also accepted at any time throughout the school year.

Parents and guardians who have not already uploaded their required documents in the online registration portal are encouraged to make an appointment to visit their school on Jan. 24 or 25, 2023, to complete the registration process.

To register online, visit the board’s website here.
