Car smashes into hydro poles in Brampton

There was a second single-vehicle collision in Brampton overnight, happening less than two hours after an initial fiery single-vehicle collision claimed the lives of three people.

Brampton Fire and Peel Police were called to the area of Mayfield Rd. and Hurontario St. at around 3:30 a.m. early Saturday morning (Aug 20).

A single vehicle lost control and tumbled into powerlines around that area.

There is no information released on the condition or identity of the driver at this time.

This is the second accident Peel Police responded to in the early hours of this morning (Aug 20).

At around 2 a.m. police attended the scene of a fiery, single-vehicle collision on Conestoga Rd. in Brampton that killed all three occupants of the vehicle.

Peel Police say both incidents remain under investigation at this time.
