Car crashes through window of Brampton pizza parlour

A Brampton pizzeria got an unexpected special delivery when a car drove through the shop’s front window on Monday night (May 16).
Peel Regional Police were called to a pizza joint in a stripmall at 700 Balmoral Dr. in Brampton on Monday evening after a vehicle crashed through the front of the pizzeria.
When police and paramedics arrived on scene they found the male driver in his 60’s was awake, shaken and confused.
The driver was assessed by first responders as a precaution, but police said no injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
A photo posted of the incident online shows the stripmall blocked off with police tape and what appeared to be the front half of a hatchback through the window.
A building inspector later deemed it was safe to remove the vehicle from the structure.

Police said it is unknown as of Tuesday afternoon if any charges will be laid in the crash.
