With all four playoff clubs set, the Canadian Premier League (CPL) announced that Forge FC, the back-to-back league champions, will host one of the two semifinal matches on Nov. 21 at 3 p.m. at Tim Horton’s Field in Hamilton.

The other semi will be hosted by Cavalry FC at ATCO Field in Calgary on Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. eastern time.

Forge and Cavalry have already clinched the top two spots in the CPL, they just don’t know who their opponents will be for the postseason. They’re virtually tied with 47 points apiece; although, Forge still has three matches remaining, while Cavalry only plays once more. That one match will be against Forge in Hamilton on Nov. 16.

The first place club will host York United FC in one CPL semifinal, while the club that finishes second will play home to Pacific FC.

Before taking on Cavalry in their regular-season finale, Forge travels to the GTA for a 905 Derby match against York Tuesday (Nov. 9), before a road date with FC Edmonton on Saturday (Nov. 13).

However, the busy stretch for Forge continues, regardless of how their semifinal playoff match goes.

The Hammers will play a home-and-away Concacaf League semifinal against FC Motagua, beginning Nov. 24 in Hamilton. Forge will travel to Honduras for the second leg on Dec. 1.

Both Forge and Motagua have already qualified for the Concacaf Champions League.
