CAA has just launched something new in parts of Ontario.

The non-profit said business memberships are now available for small- to medium-sized businesses via CAA North and East Ontario.

The organization said it has historically limited member benefits to individuals and families, until now. There are 7.4 million Canadians who have a CAA membership for personal use.

“Joining CAA Business for just $99 gives companies access to an à la carte menu that allows them to purchase benefits like commercial roadside assistance, commercial pit crew maintenance, group benefits, employee memberships, and business insurance at a member discounted rate,” a CAA news release said.

The new membership is only available to businesses in Greater Ottawa, Sudbury, North Bay, Thunder Bay, Cornwall and surrounding communities in northern or eastern Ontario, CAA says on its website.

“With CAA Business, we can offer large-company benefits like enterprise quality plans, pricing and service for group benefits to small and medium-sized companies through our partners, Sterling Brokers,” said Jeff Walker, the president and CEO of CAA North & East Ontario.

“CAA Business members have all the virtues and benefits of being in the small and medium-sized sector, with the benefits of larger enterprises.”

The new membership is the first CAA commercial business membership in Canada.
