Burlington residents will get to have their voices heard regarding an application to turn Tucker’s Marketplace into a business office.

The plan by Ruth Victor and Associates would amend the Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw for the lands located at 3110 South Service Rd.

Developers want to build a three-storey office building including training facilities and an ancillary veterinary clinic fronting onto South Service Road.

The hybrid public meeting will allow members of council, City staff and the public to participate remotely or in-person at Burlington City Hall

This meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 9:30 a.m.

For more information on the development, visit the City’s webpage. It contains supporting studies that have been submitted by the applicant. This webpage will be updated throughout the process and will include information about a future council meeting.

A Community Planning Department staff report, which provides a recommendation by staff for approval of the application, a description of the application, updates on the technical and public comments received to date, will be available for public review on Friday, Sept. 9.

If you need a hard-copy of the report, please email the Clerks Department at [email protected] to arrange pick-up.

For more information about this matter, including information about appeal rights, contact Mariana Da Silva, Planner at 905-335-7600, ext. 7536, or [email protected].
