For Burlington’s Jelica Krljar, her Daily Keno 10 Pick win reminded her of times past.

The grandmother showed she certainly knows how to pick ’em by winning $250,000 in the June 17 evening draw.

For Krljar, who plays the lottery all the time, it’s not the first time she won.

“I love all the games. I won the same amount about 30 years ago,” Krljar said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

Krljar, who purchased the winning ticket at Super Convenience on Plains Road in Burlington, plans to

pay some bills and complete some home renovations with the winnings.

She discovered her new found wealth when she was out buying groceries and decided to check her tickets.

“I saw all the zeroes and I was so happy,” she said.

Daily Keno players pick their strategy (from a 2 Pick to a 10 Pick) and pick their bet ($1, $2, $5 or $10) to pick their prize. Visit the Daily Keno page OLG.ca for more information.
