A family with members that reside in Burlington and Hamilton that plays together, wins a $1 million Lotto Max Maxmillions draw together.

Burlington’s Keith Brown made all that true when he walked into K.C’s Variety on Walker’s Line in Burlington and decided to purchase a ticket for the June 8 Lotto Max jackpot for himself, and his children, Mathew Brown, of Hamilton, and Shelby Brown, of Burlington.

Brown, who said he is a random player, would soon have some really great news for his kids

“When I went to the store and scanned the ticket, I saw Big Winner,” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “Seeing that was very rewarding! It takes a load off!”

They also won $20 on another one of their LOTTO MAX selections, bringing their total winnings to $1,000,020.

Dad already has some plans for his new winnings. He’s going to take a trip out east, purchase a YMCA membership and replace his car.

Shelby and Mathew plan to invest their share of the winnings.

“It feels great,” Keith said with a smile.
