‘Bro yoga’ event in Milton raising funds to support women

A yoga event for male allies is being held in Milton to raise awareness and funds for a local women’s centre.

The event, called “Bro Yoga,” is being hosted by the Women’s Centre of Halton and is aimed at men who would like to support women.

It is taking place at Sherwood Community Centre on Aug. 18 at 7:00 p.m. and will include a power yoga session.

The “pay what you can” event welcomes donations of any size which will all go towards supporting women in Halton.

Following the yoga session, attendees over the age of 19 will be able to sample Vibe hard kombucha.

Attendees are asked to bring their own yoga mats.
