Another pharmacy in Brampton has been robbed of cash and narcotic drugs.

Multiple suspects entered a pharmacy on Main St. and Steeles Ave., a busy commercial area in the south of the city, Peel Regional Police reported. The suspects produced a gun and robbed the place of an unknown amount of cash and drugs.

The suspects then hopped into a car and fled the area. No one was hurt in the robbery.

Details are sparse in the immediate wake of the 5:37 p.m. robbery. An hour later, police announced the crime had taken place. However, they provided no suspect descriptions, no description of the weapon, and no description of the getaway car.

Pharmacies are frequent robbery targets across the GTA and Brampton including a recent string of 14 such robberies across Peel Region which resulted in 84 charges for a pair of teens on Feb. 21.

The day before, Feb 20, a 40-year-old man was arrested after a pharmacy robbery near Vodden St. and Kennedy Rd.
